Travel bloggers from five countries recently explored the Liberation Route Europe in the Ardennes (Battle of the Bulge) and the German Hürtgen Forest (Battle of the Hürtgen Forest).
The aim was to give the bloggers an impression of the harsh conditions the soldiers faced in 1944, like snow, rain and cold, during the fighting.
In association with the Bastogne War Museum and Rureifel Tourismus, we informed the participants about the history of the region and relayed many personal wartime stories.
